Besides being Rav & Dayan, Rabbi Uriel Aviges has written and published several books and articles, most notably Nahala Bli Metsarim (comments on the Haggada and halahot of Pessah) as well as Imrei Ech.
He studied Gateshead in England, in Slabodka in Israel, as well as Lakewood, NJ in the US. He currently studies at Mesivta Tiferes Yerushalayim (MTJ) in Manhattan (Yeshiva lead by Rabbi David Feinstein).
He was rabbi of Venice, Italy during the 90's.

Rabbi Cohen-Scali, one of the founding members of the Long Island Sephardic Center, was appointed chief Rabbi of Peru in July 2016. With this newly announced appointment came the need quickly identify new Torah scholars to continue infuse joyful and insightful Torah teaching in our center for Great Neck modern orthodox families.
